Membership Types
Regular Membership
Individuals qualify for Regular Membership if they meet one of the following:
Licensed as a psychologist in the State of Florida
Fellow of the American Psychological Association
Holds a diplomate from the American Board of Professional Psychology or another board recognized by the Florida Board of Psychology
Full-time faculty member in a Florida college/university psychology department with a doctoral degree in psychology
Employed as a research psychologist with a doctorate in psychology
Employed as an industrial/organizational psychologist with a doctorate in psychology
Regular Membership Rates (with voting privileges):
$292 – 1st Year (New Members Only)
Newly licensed in Florida and joining FPA for the first time.$292 – 2nd Year
Licensed in Florida and entering second year of FPA membership.$364 – Regular (3+ Years of Membership)
Licensed in Florida with more than two years of membership.
Other Membership Categories
Senior Psychologist — $150
For psychologists age 65+ who have been an FPA member or a member of another State Psychological or Territorial Association (SPTA) for 5+ years.
Includes voting privileges.
Out-of-State Psychologist — $364
For psychologists licensed in another jurisdiction but not licensed in Florida.
Student — $10
For students enrolled in an APA-accredited college or university psychology program, including internships and post-graduate residency.
