The Initial Interview: Strategies and Techniques when Using Telehealth - Central Chapter
Participants will be able to:
1. Use effective telehealth communication techniques to interview and establish a positive therapeutic relationship with clients of varied cultural backgrounds, age and/or ability to socially engage.
2. Identify three telehealth concerns that are present in an initial interview and their remedies using best practices in tele-mental-health.
3. Incorporate best practices into current interview/treatment protocols to maximize client participation in the initial interview and subsequent treatment processes.
