Suicide in the 21st Century:  A Life Cycle Perspective - Palm Chapter

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

1. List the fundamentals of suicide risk assessment, risk formulation and documentation.

2. Describe strategies for intervening with suicidal individuals.

3. Develop an approach to coping when death by suicide when occurs with one of your patients and to conducting post-intervention efforts.

4. Develop strategies for helping family members of deceased patient process the event and cope with their own responses. 

Approved for 3 hours of general continuing education credits.

Fee:  Free for FPA Members; $30 Non-FPA Members
