Boundaries in Psychotherapy: An Ethical Analysis of Sexual Relationships With Former Patients - Palm Chapter

 

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

(1) Examine the APA’s ethical position on boundaries and sexual relationships with former patients/clients;

(2) List the four driving principles of ethical policy in healthcare (autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficience, and justice).

(3) Apply the above principles to ethical decision-making.

 

Approved 3 hours of general continuing education credits.
