Neuropsychological Models of Reading and Math Assessment - Bay Chapter


Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

(1)   Explain a brain-behavior model of reading and math by examining specific neural circuits which underscore skill acquisition.

(2)   Discuss subtypes of reading and math disabilities from a brain-behavioral perspective and link evidenced-based interventions to address each subtype.

(3)   Compare and contrast a variety of school age assessment tools to assist with comprehensive diagnosis of reading and math disabilities.


Approved for 2 hours of general continuing education credits.
