Diversity Seminar Presents: Trans Cultural Sensitivity Training and Sexuality Across the Autism Spectrum 


Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

1.  Gain a comfort level with the meaning and use of modern terminology for gender identities.

2.  Understand the historic marginalization of the Trans community in the U.S. and around the world.

3.  Discover ways to be an active ally and create a safe and affirming space for Trans people at your practice.

4.  Identify issues of sexuality specific to individual with autism spectrum disorders.

5.  Identify best practice and strategies related to teaching sexuality education across the autism spectrum.

6.  Identify at least 2 useful resources for persons with autism regarding sexuality. 


Approved for 3 hours of general continuing education credits.


Fees:  Free for FPA Members; $50 Non-FPA Members
