Risk Management When Working With Families of Divorce as a Parent Coordinator / Guardian Ad Litem / Evaluator - Miami-Dade-Monroe Chapter

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

(1)    Identify, and distinguish the authority of, the relevant

(i) Statutes,

(ii) Florida administrative code rules, and

(iii) Ethics and practice standards that govern a psychologist’s professional work as a (a) Parenting Coordinator, (b) Guardian ad Litem, or (c) Evaluator

(2)    Identify and explain the roles, duties, and obligations, a psychologist, may, and may not, take/follow in role of a (a) Parenting Coordinator, (b) Guardian ad Litem, or (c) Evaluator

(3)    Understand and explain the rules regarding (a) Privilege, (b) Confidentiality, and the (c) Release of records

(4)    Identify risk management strategies

Approved for 2 hours of Professional Ethics and Florida Laws and Rules

Fees:  Free for FPA Members; $50 Non-FPA Members

Refund Policy:  48 hours advance notice
