Identification and Intervention with High Functioning Adolescent and Adult ASD - Brevard/Indian River Chapter

 

Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

(1) Summarize diagnostic criteria for Autism Spectrum Disorder per the DSM-V.

(2) Describe differences in the clinical presentation of ASD symptoms across sex and gender.

(3) Recognize differential diagnosis considerations and frequent co-morbid diagnoses in ASD.

(4) List leading assessment measures for determining ASD diagnosis in Adolescents and Adults.

(5) Apply CBT-based interventions for Adolescents and Adults with ASD. 

 

Approved for 2 hours of general continuing education credits.
