What Psychologists Need to Know About the Deficits in “Soft Skills” Development Experienced by Individuals with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1) - Miami-Dade-Monroe

Learning objectives

Participants will be able to:  

1.  Identify “soft skills” deficits in teens and young adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (level 1)

2.  Formulate how to identify the “Soft Skills” deficits that potentially impact academic, relationships, and career success for the individual with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (level 1)

3.  Develop methods for counseling and motivating individuals who may be diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorders (level 1) and have “soft skills” deficits.

Approved for 3 hours of general continuing education credits

Fees:  Free for FPA Members; $50 Non-FPA Members
