Learning Objectives

Participants will be able to:

1. Define medical errors and analyze the risks associated with misunderstanding concepts of psychopharmacology.

2. Assess, review, and discuss medical terminology, laboratory tests and the bio-psycho-social approach.

3. Summarize and discuss psychotropic medications and side effects of medications.

4. Analyze medications that may cause harmful side effects and adverse events to vulnerable populations.

5.Summarize how psychological disorders mask as medical disorders


Approved for 2 hours medical errors continuing education credits.


Fees:  Free for FPA Members; $50 for Non-FPA Members
